Join us at the sanctuary for our new school holiday program, Kindness Club. This hands-on, interactive experience for children aged 6-12, provides children with the opportunity to engage with the animals and philosophy of Edgar’s Mission.

We are excited to launch our new school holiday program, Kindness Club. This unique, hands-on, interactive experience is designed for children aged 6-12 and offers a wonderful opportunity for young minds to engage with the animals and philosophy of Edgar’s Mission.

Running from 3rd-13th July, Kindness Club will host morning and afternoon sessions from Wednesday to Saturday each week of the holidays. Led by a qualified teacher with the support of dedicated Edgar’s Mission volunteers, this program aims to foster compassion and respect for farmed animals, cultivating a new generation of advocates for change.

This is a place of kindness, a beacon of hope in a world that is not always kind to animals. It is a place I would have loved to visit as a younger person to have my feelings about animals and the natural world validated not vanquished.
Pam Ahern, Edgar’s Mission Founder

Kindness Club is more than just a school holiday program – it is an immersive educational experience. Children will participate in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, observing and engaging with the many animal residents at the sanctuary. This carefully crafted program builds on children’s natural disposition to form close relationships with animals, enhancing their understanding and empathy through fun and interactive learning.
