B1 and B2’s story

Are you thinking what we are thinking?

Updated August 19, 2022

Proving that good things come in small (read 2kg teeny tiny, small) woolly packages, B1 and B2 entered our world, and quickly gambolled their way into our hearts.

Meet B1 and B2, while not quite Bananas in Pyjamas bounding down the staircase, but two sweet little Black Suffolk lambs in bright, colourful jackets who have been gambolling around our heated nursery.
And if you are thinking what we are thinking – they are quintessentially adorable.
And you’d be right!
Proving that good things come in small (read 2kg teeny tiny, small) woolly packages, B1 and B2 entered our world just yesterday. Not long after they had entered THE world.
Born as the final contingent of a set of triplets, the largest and strongest one managing to go it alone, but alas, not so these wee ones.
With such low birthweight they were struggling to suckle, let alone survive, and chances are, had kindness not intervened they would not have.
Although weak and in need of life-enhancing colostrum at first, their lives have quickly turned around with a decided spring entering their steps and unbridled enthusiasm for their bottles raging through their sweet lips – lips, it would seem that have taken on a life all of their own.
Teaching us what it means to be vulnerable and least heard and how the simple act of kindness can turn one’s life around, B1 and B2 shall forever resonate this important message whether in Cuddlestown, our heated nursery, or beyond.
So, welcome to the world little ones, may your adventures be filled with excitement and joy, and may your lives be filled with kindness and love.
Whilst B1 and B2 had but a whistle stop in our lives before Lamb Care Australia volunteers, Brenda and Ian, collected them moments ago for the next stage of their journey, their little hoof prints can still be felt in our hearts.
And if you are thinking what we are thinking, they will do so forever more.
