What will your legacy be?

We all have the power to leave this world better for our being. With Include a Charity Week (5-11 September) now underway, we invite you to consider what your legacy of kindness might be.

When a tiny piglet trotted into the life of Edgar’s Mission Founder, Pam Ahern, almost 20 years ago, he set off a chain reaction of kindness that we could never have imagined.

Although the eponymous Edgar Alan Pig is sadly no longer with us, his legacy lives on through our advocacy work to create a kinder world, and the safe haven we’ve been able to provide for thousands of fortunate animals including Amethyst, a tiny lamb born with disabilities.

What we have found daily through our thoughts, actions and deeds is that we all have the power to leave this world better for our being.

With Include a Charity Week (5-11 September) now underway, we invite you to consider what your legacy might be.

As a fellow animal lover, we trust that this may include a contribution that will enable Edgar’s Mission to continue our vital work on behalf of neglected, forgotten, abused and vulnerable farmed animals.

As a registered charity, bequests have allowed us to achieve many amazing things.

This includes a heated nursery for orphaned lambs and kids, a vet room for animal treatments, and a reliable sanctuary vehicle.

Our advocacy and ground-breaking stories touch hearts and open minds worldwide, while closer to home we seek to create a kinder world through sanctuary tours, humane education and much more.

We have now partnered with Gathered Here, a leading Australian online will-writing platform, to offer you the chance to create a free, legally binding will in less than 10 minutes with free and unlimited updates. You can start your free online will here.

Or to find out more and get free sample wording for your solicitor, visit our bequest page here.

If you have already confirmed a gift in your will, our heartfelt thanks to you! We are deeply humbled by your belief in Edgar’s Mission. If you so desire, please let us know so that we can thank you personally.

If you’re unable to, please know we are grateful for the other ways you support us.

Because of you, Edgar’s Mission is one of the few places on earth where farmed animals get to grow old with grace, dignity and kindness.
