Arriving as a forlorn and ageing ewe, we worked against the odds to give Dawn a reason to live and hoped beyond hope that a reunion with her twin baby lambs would be her miracle cure. Sadly nothing could address the toxaemia that had ravaged her body. Spending her last days in the warm winter sunshine, her two babies constantly snuggled by her side, we knew a kinder place was calling her, and it was time to set her free.
